Evertimer

Chrome & Edge extension for Redmine

Track Redmine time right from the toolbar

Add your Redmine issues, start a timer, and send the time to Redmine without leaving the page you are on.

Try it: press play on another task and the running one pauses. Scroll the popup to see more tasks.

At a glance

Everything on one screen

Click the Evertimer icon in the toolbar and this opens. Point at a label for details.

The Evertimer popup with statistics and tasks

Your photo and name open your Redmine page. The icons open Redmine, Everbook, Everhub and Payments.
The circles fill toward a full day, week and month, split into billable and non-billable time.
Pinned tasks stay at the top, marked with a red bookmark.
Each Redmine issue you work on is a card. Paste its link or number to add it.
Start and pause per task. It keeps counting with the popup or the browser closed.
The red arrow opens the submit form. Write a comment, press Save, and the entry is in Redmine.

Safe & secure

Your tracked time is never lost

Time stays in Evertimer until Redmine confirms it. And Evertimer talks to nobody but your Redmine.

What Evertimer protects

  • The timer keeps counting with the popup closed, the browser closed or the computer asleep.
  • Time is cleared only after Redmine confirms the entry. If Redmine refuses, everything stays as it was.
  • Clicking Save twice sends one entry, not two.
  • A half-written comment is kept if the popup closes.
  • With browser sync on, your tasks, timers and settings follow you to every computer where you are signed in to the browser.
Redmine says no, and the message says why.
Close the message: the time and comment are still there.

Secure by design

  • Talks only to your Redmine, with your personal API key.
  • No Everlabs servers in between. Nothing is sold or shared.
  • No analytics, ads or tracking. It never reads the pages you visit.
  • The API key is hidden in Settings, with a Show button when you need it.

How it works

For Redmine admins

Statistics and the extra submit fields come from the free Evertimer Redmine plugin. An admin installs it once on the Redmine server; on our Redmine it is already in place.

On the plugin's settings page the admin decides which projects, trackers, statuses, activities or field values count as non-billable. See the plugin page.
